Brigid 1500 Window Merchandising Grant
The Brigid 1500 Window Merchandising Grant provides financial support to retailers and businesses across County Kildare to design and enhance their window displays to commemorate and celebrate Saint Brigid: Ireland's first female Patron Saint.
An attractive and inviting streetscape plays a pivotal role in enhancing the retail experience across County Kildare, and we proudly support our local businesses to become even more involved in the Spirit of Brigid. Grant Application
Each application will be assessed on its own merits and any job that enhances the town’s character may qualify for grant aid.
All applicants are required to comply with planning codes, legislative requirements, and other compliance requirements.
To apply for the Brigid 1500 Window Merchandising Grant, applicants must adhere to the following application process:
- Complete the application form via the link below
- Submit a quotation/ price for materials you plan to purchase, and ensure VAT is clearly stated (please note all offers will be based on ex-VAT figure)
- Proof of Payment of Rates to KCC or a payment plan in place
- Tax Clearance Certificate
Important: Please ensure no work is paid for, or completed before the application for Grant Aid is approved by the Kildare County Council’s Business Support Unit.
Important: Cash payments to your contractor or suppliers are PROHIBITED; all payments must be completed by EFT or cheque/ bank draft and proof of payment will be sought.
The Grant will provide 50% funding on eligible expenditures up to a max. of €1,000 in KCC reimbursement over the calendar year. Businesses can use this fund at their discretion over the year (i.e. giving you scope to forward plan and cost your window displays around festivals/ seasons).
